CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

 

 

Membership in the body of Christ, the church, is a gift from God.

 

 

 

“For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift – not from works, so that no one can boast.”

-EPHESIANS 2:8-9

 

Church Membership is a GIFT that we should treasure with great joy and anticipation.

 

Church Membership is NOT a legalistic obligation, a social club with perks, nor a license for entitlements.

 

The free gift of grace includes:

Eternal Salvation

Forgiveness of sins by Christ’s death on the cross

Adoption by God the Father

Indwelling of the Holy Spirit

Becoming a part of the body of Christ
